The sponsorship scheme is one of VMT’s great successes. There are now 400 children with sponsors who pay Rs. 1200 a month. The difference this money makes to their lives is immeasurable. Rs. 700 goes to the family for the child’s welfare and Rs. 500 is kept in a savings account for the more expensive years ahead when the child moves on to further education and training.

Yes please, the children always love to hear from their sponsors and they will write to you and send cards from time to time.
Letters, post cards, photographs and small presents are gladly accepted. Again please be sure to include the child’s name and yours.
